Assigned Classes

The list of assigned classes contains classes of the selected/loaded timetable together with their time and room assignments. The colors of the time and room assignments reflect the preference put on a given class for that given time or room (for example, a blue time means that the time was a required time for a given class, an orange room means that the room was strongly discouraged for a given class). The legend for this color coding is displayed at the bottom of the list.

The following columns are displayed in the list (you can sort by any of them by clicking on the column heading in green letters):

  • Class
    • Subject area, course number, instructional type and class number within that type (for example, ECET 107 Lab 1)
  • Date
    • Date pattern for a given class (for example, Full Term)
  • Time
    • Assigned time
  • Room
    • Assigned room
  • Instructor
    • The lead instructor on the class
      • Note: If there is an instructor assigned to a class who is not marked as "lead", the person will not be displayed here (the person is not taken into account during timetabling at all)
  • Students or Std

If the Simplified mode checkbox is unchecked, additional columns are displayed. See Class Assignment Properties for details.

Click on any class to get to the Suggestions screen for that class - you can make changes to the time and/or room assignment in that screen.
